Isak Vollander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Holmgren in the 7th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Väddö IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bankeryd BF:s goal. The referee gave Bankeryd BF a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mats Björk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Väddö IFK's Isak Vollander. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Holmgren in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isak Vollander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilhelm Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Henry Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isak Vollander having to interfere. If Jan-Ove Smefeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Isak Vollander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isak Vollander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bankeryd BF's Mats Björk got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thomas Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andy Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Berggren in the 38th minute of the match. Jan-Ove Smefeldt struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Andy Nordin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Väddö IFK. Andy Nordin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Ove Smefeldt in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Wictor Allbom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bankeryd BF and the Väddö IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Thomas Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Bankeryd BF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Berggren made a kick off. When Jan-Ove Smefeldt came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Väddö IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Ove Smefeldt couldn't finish the play. After 56 minutes of play Bankeryd BF's Wictor Allbom was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Bankeryd BF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Wictor Allbom hit a great ball. Henry Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 65 in the game by Henry Johnsson from a close distance when the talented Isak Vollander managed to make a qualified save. Väddö IFK's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Henry Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bankeryd BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Johnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isak Vollander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Väddö IFK's Isak Vollander got control of the ball when Emil Sjögren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robin Ahlström's late challenge caught a Bankeryd BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Ahlström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Väddö IFK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Robin Ahlström hit a great ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Henry Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bankeryd BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andy Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Väddö IFK's Robin Ahlström got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bankeryd BF's Andy Nordin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Smefeldt in the 92nd minute of play. The Bankeryd BF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bankeryd BF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
