Gusselby IF's Sven-Erik Soned played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Wahlström in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Håkan Biörnberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sven-Erik Soned, passed just outside the right post. Nils-Åke Kjellbom charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Åke Kjellbom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nils-Åke Kjellbom hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Wiktor Wahlström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sigtuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gusselby IF the free kick. Mårten Bollström struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Torbjörn Lövskog didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gusselby IF. When Håkan Biörnberg, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sven-Erik Soned was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mårten Bollström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sigtuna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
