In the 7th minute, Horda BK's Inge Aleberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Erland Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes, Gusselby IF's Kåre Löv shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexander Fredriksson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gusselby IF reached it. The supporters of Gusselby IF booed when Horda BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Erik Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Aleberg in the 16th minute of play. Sven-Erik Soned didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inge Aleberg went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sven-Erik Soned showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Aleberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Kurt Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Josef Hansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gusselby IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Inge Aleberg took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Sven-Erik Soned to make any attempt to save it. Inge Aleberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gusselby IF's Sven-Erik Soned played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvin Nilsson in the 35th minute of play. When Walter Knutsson fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gusselby IF's protests and gave Walter Knutsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Horda BK booed when Gusselby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Knutsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Horda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Bollström came free, but Alexander Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Alexander Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Josef Hansson sped through Horda BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexander Fredriksson. When Mårten Bollström came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Gusselby IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mårten Bollström couldn't finish the play. Mårten Bollström struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Alexander Fredriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gusselby IF. In the 71stth minute of the game Josef Hansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horda BK's Alexander Fredriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Inge Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Erik Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Mårten Bollström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gusselby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mårten Bollström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Erik Soned showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Ekrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Josef Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gusselby IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Josef Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mårten Bollström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Fredriksson having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Horda BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mårten Bollström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Horda BK's Arvin Nilsson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Josef Hansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Fredriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Hansson ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gusselby IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Horda BK.
