Rävlanda's Gilbert Bagge got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eskil Valström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kurt Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute of the match Tony Ånger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kurt Nilsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ola Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eskil Valström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Nilsson having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Eskil Valström took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kurt Nilsson to make any attempt to save it. If Eskil Valström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brottby's Leonard Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Eskil Valström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brottby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eskil Valström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ola Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Nilsson having to interfere. The supporters of Brottby booed when Rävlanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Lindholm made a kick off. In the 60th minute Eskil Valström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Nilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rävlanda's Kåre Stephansson got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ola Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Nilsson having to interfere. Kurt Nilsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Valström, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Fred Lindholm didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 65th minute. Rävlanda's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ola Göransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brottby's supporters rose to their feet, but Ola Göransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Nilsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Eskil Valström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Nilsson. Rävlanda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eskil Valström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Marko Billström charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marko Billström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Brottby booed when Rävlanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Billström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonard Berggren's late challenge caught a Rävlanda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonard Berggren helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brottby getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Leonard Berggren hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Gilbert Bagge got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christoffer Dalgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Brottby's Marko Johnsson got a free kick in the 96th minute. Christoffer Dalgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Lindholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brottby had played much better football throughout.
