Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ian Haglund kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Habo IK defense, Jens-Ove Liljeström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Knut Sandwall. The Habo IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Knut Sandwall should have stopped the shot. Helgum's Valdemar Falkrantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Åhman in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Habo IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Löv to maneuver through the defense. Ian Haglund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Knut Sandwall having to make a save. A collision led to Habo IK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Charlie Fribäck hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Haglund in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Knut Sandwall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 33 minutes, Ivan Åhman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Habo IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Åhman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claes Almqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Claes Almqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdemar Falkrantz was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Frank Hök notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Habo IK's Knut Sandwall. Knut Sandwall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ian Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Almqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claes Almqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claes Almqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Habo IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Löv to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Philip Löv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Ian Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute Frank Hök shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Habo IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Haglund came free, but Knut Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Falkrantz was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Claes Almqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claes Almqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. If Ian Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knut Sandwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Hök, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Claes Almqvist came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Habo IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claes Almqvist couldn't finish the play. Habo IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
