Joakim Sundling charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joakim Sundling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ånge IK's Joakim Sundling got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Ånge IK's Max Asklöv got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joakim Sundling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ivar Tingelholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Ånge IK's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Lennartsson came free, but Magnus Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes, Johannes Bergman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rävlanda FF and the Ånge IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Conny Ström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rävlanda FF's Ivar Tingelholm didn't even have to move. Vincent Vibjörnsson's late challenge caught a Ånge IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincent Vibjörnsson helped the player get up and apologised. Vincent Vibjörnsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Conny Ström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Måns Åkesson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rävlanda FF's protests and gave Måns Åkesson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rävlanda FF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Måns Åkesson hit a great ball. Johnny Ekegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Månsson having to interfere. In the 28th minute Patric Lennartsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Månsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Tingelholm made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Joakim Sundling sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Lennartsson in the 34th minute of play forced Ånge IK's goalkeeper Magnus Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Osvald Åkesson fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ånge IK's protests and gave Osvald Åkesson a yellow card for diving instead. Osvald Åkesson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Rävlanda FF's Patric Lennartsson got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patric Lennartsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magnus Månsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patric Lennartsson made a kick off. Joakim Sundling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Tingelholm having to interfere. Joakim Sundling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Johannes Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conny Ström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Johnny Ekegren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Magnus Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Lennartsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Max Asklöv blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivar Tingelholm having to make a save. Måns Åkesson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ivar Tingelholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Sundling in the 76th minute of play. Emil Ek charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Ek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emil Ek hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, one of Rävlanda FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rävlanda FF. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Ånge IK. Conny Ström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ivar Tingelholm. 1-0. Johnny Ekegren struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Magnus Månsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rävlanda FF. If Johnny Ekegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ånge IK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rävlanda FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
