Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Joseph Löfskog started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 18 minutes into the match, Grimstorp IK's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Löfskog came free, but Johan Bratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Lekberg having to interfere. Östen Lekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Spetz in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Jörgen Spetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mikael Waller fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vemdalen's protests and gave Mikael Waller a yellow card for diving instead. Mikael Waller kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Lennart Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Spetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Lekberg having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Larsson in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Östen Lekberg saved Vemdalen from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Spetz in the 42nd minute of play forced Vemdalen's goalkeeper Östen Lekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Lennart Larsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grimstorp IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Larsson made a kick off. Östen Lekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Larsson in the 55th minute of play. Lennart Larsson took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Östen Lekberg. Östen Lekberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mikael Waller hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Jörgen Spetz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grimstorp IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Spetz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 played minutes Vemdalen got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Pil. Östen Lekberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lennart Larsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Grimstorp IK's goal looked a bit too open when Rutger Vedholm came free, but Johan Bratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Vemdalen's goalkeeper Östen Lekberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörgen Spetz. Arvin Nordal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Lekberg having to interfere. Lennart Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Östen Lekberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Grimstorp IK's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Löfskog came free, but Johan Bratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grimstorp IK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
