Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sigvard Tunström started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, FC Giroud's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Joensson came free, but Allan Arenstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Sigvard Tunström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 17th minute when Olov Klintæus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Sigvard Tunström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borghamn's Jens-Ola Månsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Joensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigvard Tunström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Månsson having to interfere. Jens-Ola Månsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Tunström in the 40th minute of play. When Kasper Holmberg fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borghamn's protests and gave Kasper Holmberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Borghamn's Kasper Holmberg got a free kick in the 41st minute. Dan Joensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
Olov Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Arenstedt having to interfere. The FC Giroud fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when FC Giroud's Sigvard Tunström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olov Klintæus hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jens-Ove Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Joensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borghamn's Dan Joensson got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Borghamn got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Holmberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigvard Tunström in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ola Månsson saved Borghamn from getting behind. Johannes Frisck charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Frisck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Borghamn getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Johannes Frisck hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Zebastian Fernström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Giroud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zebastian Fernström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes of play, FC Giroud's Sigvard Tunström made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Ola Månsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Sigvard Tunström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ola Månsson was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Borghamn's Jens-Ola Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Tunström in the 87th minute of play. Jens-Ola Månsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sigvard Tunström's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Olov Klintæus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
