The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Sunhultsbrunn's Torbjörn Sundberg got control of the ball when Kevin Kling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nils-Erik Vedholm scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torbjörn Sundberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Dan Lindgren sped through Sunhultsbrunn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torbjörn Sundberg. Sunhultsbrunn's Torbjörn Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Lindgren in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Sunhultsbrunn getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bertil Lennartsson hit a great ball. Kevin Kling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Torbjörn Sundberg made a huge save. Charlottenberg's Dan Lindgren was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nils-Erik Vedholm hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Kevin Kling reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Torbjörn Sundberg. The goal made the score 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sivert Lenberg to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Sunhultsbrunn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joar Blomberg to maneuver through the defense. Charlottenberg's Vidar Bergren got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torbjörn Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Kling in the 54th minute of play. Sunhultsbrunn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Kling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Torbjörn Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Charlottenberg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
