Billy Kock was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gällstad! Villiam Kämpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mattias Jelm in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Melker Walmarsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Gällstad's Melker Walmarsson got control of the ball when Mattias Jelm tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gällstad's zone, Mattias Jelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melker Walmarsson came out of the goal and Mattias Jelm tried to chip the ball over his head. The referee ignored Broakulla's protests and gave Joseph Torsberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gällstad booed when Broakulla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Torsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Höijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Albin Mossberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Gällstad's goal looked a bit too open when Villiam Kämpe came free, but Melker Walmarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Roland Höijer came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Gällstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Höijer couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Villiam Kämpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Gällstad got a freekick which was hit by Dan Vestberg. After a rather tough play, Gällstad's Georg Sörman got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 67th match minute, Gällstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Bergvall to maneuver through the defense. Melker Walmarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Jelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Albin Mossberg managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Gällstad's Roland Höijer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 75 minutes into the match, Broakulla's Mattias Jelm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melker Walmarsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dan Vestberg's late challenge caught a Broakulla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Vestberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gällstad's Dan Vestberg got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute, Villiam Kämpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melker Walmarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Jelm in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Gällstad's goal looked a bit too open when Villiam Kämpe came free, but Melker Walmarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Mattias Jelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Walmarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melker Walmarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Jelm, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Mattias Jelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villiam Kämpe in the 95th minute of play forced Gällstad's goalkeeper Melker Walmarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Broakulla's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
