Gullbrandstorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Åke Kalfhage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Richard Hedbom fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gullbrandstorp's protests and gave Richard Hedbom a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd play minute Harry Dahlkvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Herman Vallander. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
