Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Botvidsson started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Matfors getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mattias Hellqvist hit a great ball. Håkan Klemensson's late challenge caught a Lugnvik BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håkan Klemensson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Torsten Gunnarsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Torsten Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Eric Botvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Helberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Månsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Gunnarsson in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Matfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Nyman to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes of play Matfors's Håkan Klemensson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 40 played minutes Matfors got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Klemensson. After having played for 44 minutes, Per Sundling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugnvik BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Sundling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torsten Gunnarsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Lugnvik BF got a corner. Matfors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valentin Qvarnström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elias Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Sundling, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Per Sundling came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Lugnvik BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Sundling couldn't finish the play. Torsten Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Torsten Svanér got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Torsten Svanér had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 played minutes Lugnvik BF got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Qvarnström. When Konrad Engström fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lugnvik BF's protests and gave Konrad Engström a yellow card for diving instead. Konrad Engström hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Matfors's Elias Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Gunnarsson in the 90th minute of play.
