In the 25th minute, Aron Fogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Svanskog's zone, Aron Fogel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kennet Vibjörnsson came out of the goal and Aron Fogel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aron Fogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Svanskog booed when Fjugesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Ekrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aron Fogel got free with Kennet Vibjörnsson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, Svanskog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Westerstrand to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Svanskog's goalkeeper Kennet Vibjörnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvid Gunnarsson in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kennet Vibjörnsson saved Svanskog from getting behind. After 67 minutes, Jan Sandberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svanskog and the Fjugesta players grew even worse after the yellow card. 69 minutes into the game, Claes Ahlbeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fjugesta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svanskog the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fjugesta's Claes Ahlbeck got a free kick in the 69th minute. Arvid Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Arvid Gunnarsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kennet Vibjörnsson. That made the score 0-1 in the 81 minute of play. Aron Fogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Vibjörnsson having to interfere. When the match was over Fjugesta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Svanskog throughout the match.
