Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mölnlycke BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Orvar Arvidsson scored to the left of an out of position Urban Beckman, making the score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Orvar Arvidsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Urban Beckman. Orvar Arvidsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Sten Wik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mölnlycke BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Wik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sonny Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wictor Bergström charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wictor Bergström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Borghamn:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mölnlycke BF:s goal. Hugo Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Wik in the 34th minute of play. Rickard Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hugo Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Hugo Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Wennerlund in the 40th minute of play. Hugo Johansson came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mölnlycke BF's Rickard Haglund. But to his dismay, Rickard Haglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Orvar Arvidsson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rickard Haglund was the one to do the kick off. Borghamn's Hugo Johansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Borghamn from getting a goal against them. Urban Beckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Michael Wennerlund hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mölnlycke BF booed when Borghamn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert Emander might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urban Beckman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gert Emander ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Uggla in the 69th minute of play forced Borghamn's goalkeeper Hugo Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orvar Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Beckman having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Karl-Michael Wennerlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mölnlycke BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borghamn the free kick. Orvar Arvidsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urban Beckman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Orvar Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borghamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orvar Arvidsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Mölnlycke BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Sandström to maneuver through the defense. Rickard Haglund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Johansson having to make a save. Orvar Arvidsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urban Beckman having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Borghamn fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mölnlycke BF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
