Måns Söderqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Andy Rolandsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grönahög's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skillinge BK the free kick. After 7 played minutes Grönahög got a freekick which was hit by Andy Rolandsson. After a rather tough play, Grönahög's Andy Rolandsson got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Måns Söderqvist fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skillinge BK's protests and gave Måns Söderqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Mark Sandström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Valler in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Skillinge BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Holmgren came free, but Mark Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Skillinge BK's Ingemar Rolandsson in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mark Sandström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Valler in the 32nd minute. Ingemar Rolandsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isak Hult. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingemar Rolandsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Isak Hult showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Jörgen Olsson scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isak Hult, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sverker Holmgren to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Skillinge BK's Jörgen Olsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isak Hult made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Mark Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Valler in the 57th minute of the match. Dan Tunberg charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Tunberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mark Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Valler in the 60th minute of play. Isak Hult made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Rolandsson in the 64th minute of play. Grönahög's Gunnar Valler got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Skillinge BK's Dan Tunberg got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jarl Karlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mark Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Valler in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Grönahög was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sverker Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. Gunnar Valler kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Jörgen Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ingemar Rolandsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Isak Hult tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Ingemar Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Hult saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grönahög's Gunnar Lundqvist got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Skillinge BK played a much better game than Grönahög and deserved their victory. The Grönahög players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
