Sten Wik took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Sandström. Mark Sandström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Skillinge BK's goalkeeper Mark Sandström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Wik. Jörgen Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Beckman having to interfere. Dan Tunberg's late challenge caught a Mölnlycke BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Tunberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Skillinge BK's Dan Tunberg got a free kick in the 18th minute. A hard shot by Joachim Hedin from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Mark Sandström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Måns Söderqvist during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Måns Söderqvist hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Mark Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mölnlycke BF! Sten Wik might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Sandström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Wik ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the game, Jarl Karlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skillinge BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mölnlycke BF the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Skillinge BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mölnlycke BF:s goal. Mölnlycke BF's Urban Beckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Rolandsson in the 46th minute of play. Jörgen Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Rickard Haglund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Sandström having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Rickard Haglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mölnlycke BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Haglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Sandström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sten Wik might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Sandström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Wik ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörgen Olsson got free with Urban Beckman in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute of the match Skillinge BK got a corner. Mölnlycke BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ola Ahlberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Oskar Siggman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Urban Beckman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 70thth minute of the game Sten Wik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skillinge BK's Mark Sandström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sten Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urban Beckman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Rolandsson in the 76th minute of the match. Sonny Uggla's late challenge caught a Skillinge BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sonny Uggla helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skillinge BK booed when Mölnlycke BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Uggla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urban Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Jörgen Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skillinge BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Olsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mölnlycke BF's Sonny Uggla got a free kick in the 90th minute. Jörgen Olsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Urban Beckman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dan Tunberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mölnlycke BF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Skillinge BK for a fine match.
