When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Lindström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Särö's Jörgen Törnblom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Lindström in the 56th minute of play. Kiruna's Mikael Ekenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Vinström in the 59th minute of play. Sture Vinström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Ekenberg having to interfere. The supporters of Särö booed when Kiruna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikael Ekenberg was a little too slow when Eskil Rydberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-1. If Leo Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Leo Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiruna's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Lindström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Törnblom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Lindström got in the 92nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jörgen Törnblom handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mikael Ekenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Vinström in the 96th minute of the match.
