Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sture Vinström got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Särö's Tomas Telin got a free kick in the 8th minute. Sture Vinström struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Verner Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Särö. Mariefred's Verner Åberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mariefred from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Anders Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Svensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jörgen Törnblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Törnblom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Svensson in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Adrian Palmquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mariefred fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mariefred's Verner Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Vinström in the 35th minute of play. Eskil Rydberg struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Verner Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Särö. The Mariefred fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Svensson made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Adrian Palmquist made a precise shot to the right of Jörgen Törnblom. Särö's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Tomas Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Törnblom having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Jörgen Frykberg put in a rough tackle. In the 74th minute, one of Mariefred:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mariefred. After 80 minutes, Adrian Palmquist made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Särö's Jörgen Törnblom tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Mariefred defense, Tomas Telin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Verner Åberg. The Mariefred fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Verner Åberg should have stopped the shot. 2-5 became the score in the 92nd minute when Adrian Palmquist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 96 minutes of play, Mariefred's Adrian Palmquist made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörgen Törnblom was left in no man's land by his defense there!
