Aldo Paul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Classon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pål Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Byström in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gustaf Andreasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 47th minute Jens-Ove Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zebastian Ekström made a kick off. With a little luck, Skillingaryd IFK's Aldo Paul got control of the ball when Håkan Berglund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustaf Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Arvidsson in the 56th minute of play. Gustaf Andreasson came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Skillingaryd IFK's Jens-Ove Ahlström. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Ahlström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 68 minutes into the game, Malcolm Classon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sysslebäck IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skillingaryd IFK the free kick. In the 68th minute, Malcolm Classon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Skillingaryd IFK fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Skillingaryd IFK's Viktor Byström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Håkan Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mikael Arvidsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Skillingaryd IFK's Mikael Arvidsson got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Jens-Ove Ahlström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Skillingaryd IFK fully deserved thier win.
