The referee ignored Elliott Wave's protests and gave Andres Oper a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Elliott Wave got a freekick which was hit by Erik Josefsson. Andres Oper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joacim Strömberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 80th minute Tobias Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olov Edström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joacim Strömberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Tobias Björklund notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vålberg BF's Joacim Strömberg. Joacim Strömberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elliott Wave's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
