Mårten Alströmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Smedfeldt in the 14th minute of play. Mårten Alströmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Rolandsson in the 15th minute. Johnny Caspersson charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Caspersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, one of Irak:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Irak. The referee gave Löderup BK a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stig Ahlén, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Irak's Bernt Tinglöv. 1-1. With a little luck, Löderup BK's Mårten Alströmer got control of the ball when Lars Rolandsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Irak booed when Löderup BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Ahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Smedfeldt in the 28th minute of play forced Löderup BK's goalkeeper Mårten Alströmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Carl Åkerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingvar Västlund struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bernt Tinglöv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Löderup BK. Irak's Bernt Tinglöv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Bäck in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Rolandsson got free with Mårten Alströmer in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joakim Smedfeldt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joakim Smedfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Alströmer having to interfere. After 53rd play minutes Joakim Smedfeldt shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Mårten Alströmer and just under the crossbar into goal. Mårten Alströmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Fagrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Löderup BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Smedfeldt came free, but Mårten Alströmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mårten Alströmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Rolandsson in the 69th minute of the match. Irak's Johnny Caspersson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Löderup BK. Andy Bäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bernt Tinglöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Joakim Smedfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Alströmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Sundén kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Lars Rolandsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mårten Alströmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Västlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Tinglöv having to interfere.
