Björn Strand hit a great ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Thor Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljungby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thor Vacker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Vacker in the 6th minute of play forced Bredbyn IF's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Alefors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bredbyn IF's Jens-Åke Alefors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Holmberg in the 7th minute of play. Dick Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Åke Alefors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Vacker, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Levander in the 14th minute of play forced Ljungby's goalkeeper Jakob Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Bredbyn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Björkqvist to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ragnar Gregersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungby's supporters rose to their feet, but Ragnar Gregersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Åke Alefors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Frykberg in the 21st minute of play forced Bredbyn IF's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Alefors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Tidéksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jens-Åke Alefors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ljungby's Thor Vacker in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bredbyn IF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute, Jim Ahlström made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Åke Alefors. Bredbyn IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Frans Holmberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Åke Alefors was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 35th minute, Tom Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 minutes, Frans Holmberg made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Bredbyn IF's Jens-Åke Alefors tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Ljungby defense, Per-Erik Levander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jakob Eckegren. The Ljungby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jakob Eckegren should have stopped the shot. When Björn Strand came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Bredbyn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Strand couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Ljungby's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Ennegren came free, but Jakob Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thor Vacker was the one to do the kick off. Jim Ahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Alefors having to interfere. Thor Vacker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Ennegren in the 66th minute of play forced Ljungby's goalkeeper Jakob Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Ennegren in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Bredbyn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Levander to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jim Ahlström managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Arvin Ennegren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bredbyn IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvin Ennegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvin Ennegren took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jakob Eckegren. Jakob Eckegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Ljungby's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
