Moskosel's Christian Blomquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Moskosel from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim Ahlström in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Blomquist saved Moskosel from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thor Vacker in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Blomquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jakob Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Asplund, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Ljungby's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Lundin came free, but Jakob Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Asplund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jakob Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börje Björk's late challenge caught a Moskosel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Börje Björk helped the player get up and apologised. David Asplund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Moskosel got a freekick which was hit by Michael Östlund. In the 33rd minute Bo-Erik Frykberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Blomquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Asplund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Börje Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Blomquist having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Frans Holmberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christian Blomquist. Frans Holmberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ljungby's Dick Forsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thor Vacker made a kick off. Ljungby's Jakob Eckegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ljungby from getting a goal against them. Maximilian Ljungberg struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jakob Eckegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moskosel. Ulf Vennersten charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulf Vennersten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulf Vennersten kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Thor Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljungby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thor Vacker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bernt Lundin fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moskosel's protests and gave Bernt Lundin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Bernt Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes, Kristian Ekström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moskosel and the Ljungby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Moskosel got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Ekström. Christian Blomquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Vacker in the 69th minute of play. Christian Blomquist came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ljungby's Thor Vacker. But to his dismay, Thor Vacker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 72 minutes into the match, Ljungby's goalkeeper Jakob Eckegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Lundin. After having played for 74 minutes, Thor Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljungby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thor Vacker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ljungby's Thor Vacker got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Michael Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Ragnar Gregersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ljungby's Jakob Eckegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Ljungby from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the game, Ljungby's Jim Ahlström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Blomquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.
