The Vårgårda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 8th minute, Kevin Eskilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, one of Rulfs Angels:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rulfs Angels. In the 25th minute, Folke Eklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olof Aronsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Folke Eklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Olof Aronsson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Hellgren in the 32nd minute of play forced Vårgårda's goalkeeper Olof Aronsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Ove Stor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Wallman in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Kevin Eskilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Vårgårda's goalkeeper Olof Aronsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Folke Eklund. Jan-Ove Stor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Wallman, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Folke Eklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Jan-Ove Stor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patric Stenkvist in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Wallman in the 56th minute of play forced Rulfs Angels's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Stor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Rulfs Angels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
