Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. John Isaksson started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jimmie Kellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Risögrund's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmie Kellberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Lindsten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Risögrund's Jimmie Kellberg got a free kick in the 9th minute. Jimmie Kellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Lindsten having to interfere. Emanuel Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eric Brogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Askersund's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Jimmie Kellberg scored to the left of an out of position Jon Lindsten, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Askersund getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lars Ånger hit a great ball. Gustav Åhman kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Alfred Andreasson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stefan Hammarbäck to strike the kick off in the second half. When Risögrund's Jimmie Kellberg in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Askersund's goalie prevented a goal. When Emanuel Berggren came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Askersund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Berggren couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Isaksson in the 55th minute of play forced Risögrund's goalkeeper Eric Brogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gösta Granberg charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gösta Granberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jon Lindsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Hammarbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Malcolm Täman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Brogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Isaksson in the 73rd minute of the match. John Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Eric Brogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gösta Granberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. The supporters of Risögrund booed when Askersund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Granberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Brogren having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Askersund's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmie Kellberg came free, but Jon Lindsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Berggren might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Brogren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Berggren ran back to his position shaking his head. Jon Lindsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Hammarbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Askersund players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Risögrund.
