Varekil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rune Åhman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rune Åhman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Andréas Classon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leif Sigman hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Åhman got free with Andréas Classon in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Roy Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aaron Finnman came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Hårsfjärden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Finnman couldn't finish the play. Christer Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Sigman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hårsfjärden's Rune Åhman got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andréas Classon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hårsfjärden's goalkeeper Christer Holmberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Varekil's Andréas Classon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Finnman in the 57th minute of play. When Roy Hedlund came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Varekil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Hedlund couldn't finish the play. Andréas Classon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Varekil's zone, Rune Åhman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andréas Classon came out of the goal and Rune Åhman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rune Åhman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hårsfjärden walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
