The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Åberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Österbymo's goalkeeper Felix Dalkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 minutes, Simon Ahlroth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Österbymo and the Tollered IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Österbymo! Österbymo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Sven Åberg scored to the left of an out of position Felix Dalkvist, making the score, 1-0. If Sven Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Österbymo's zone, André Lange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Dalkvist came out of the goal and André Lange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Lange got free with Felix Dalkvist in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ove Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Österbymo's Ove Eriksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Åke Hylander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Lange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Felix Dalkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agne Qvarnström kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Sven Frykberg hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Eriksson in the 47th minute of play forced Tollered IK's goalkeeper Stig-Åke Hylander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven Åberg made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Åberg in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Dalkvist saved Österbymo from getting behind. Sven Åberg struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Felix Dalkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tollered IK. With his leg Stig-Åke Hylander managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Österbymo's Ove Eriksson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 61 played minutes Tollered IK got a freekick which was hit by Calle Täman. André Lange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Dalkvist having to interfere. Sven Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Dalkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Lange's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Österbymo's Ove Eriksson got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 75th minute, Ove Eriksson fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. Felix Dalkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Lange went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Sven Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Felix Dalkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tollered IK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Österbymo for a fine match.
