Robert Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Fellingsbro IF's Robert Olofsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fred Brask narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fred Brask made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Martinsson in the 13th minute of play. If Vilhelm Haegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Båstad IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Olofsson came free, but Fred Brask reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell-Arne Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fred Brask tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Brask having to interfere. Robert Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fred Brask tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fred Brask came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Fellingsbro IF's Kjell-Arne Martinsson. But to his dismay, Kjell-Arne Martinsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 37th minute Kjell-Arne Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Brask saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kjell-Arne Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fred Brask tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjell-Arne Martinsson made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Båstad IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kjell-Arne Martinsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Robert Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Brask having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fred Brask tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Båstad IFK's Fred Brask proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Båstad IFK from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Båstad IFK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Frank Viberg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fellingsbro IF's Billy Friberger got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Peter Torstensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Vilhelm Haegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Siöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Fellingsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Haegg came free, but Jerry Siöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Båstad IFK fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Båstad IFK's Vilhelm Haegg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Torstensson in the 91st minute of play forced Fellingsbro IF's goalkeeper Jerry Siöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Peter Torstensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Siöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Båstad IFK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fellingsbro IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Fellingsbro IF.
