Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henrik Säf took the kick off in the first half of the match. Henrik Säf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bror Gregersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Emanuel Hellqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Andy Myhr fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dala-Järna IK's protests and gave Andy Myhr a yellow card for diving instead. Andy Myhr kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th of the match, Henrik Säf tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Bror Gregersson got in the way and made a wonderful save. Egil Jakobsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomas Kjellqvist. Dala-Järna IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Henrik Säf scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bror Gregersson , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Kjellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Alfors in the 25th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Forsberg during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Marieholm getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sven Forsberg hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Henrik Säf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Gregersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Melker Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joakim Apelkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dala-Järna IK's Henrik Säf got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marieholm's goalkeeper Bror Gregersson , but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Robin Alfors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Dala-Järna IK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Wennerqvist came free, but Tomas Kjellqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt Wennerqvist to make the kick off. Andy Myhr was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 56th match minute, Dala-Järna IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Myhr to maneuver through the defense. Bengt Wennerqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Kjellqvist having to interfere. Joakim Apelkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bror Gregersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dala-Järna IK! The referee gave Marieholm a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Max Sandwall, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dala-Järna IK's Tomas Kjellqvist. 1-1. Bengt Wennerqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Kjellqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Max Sandwall kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Arvid Bergqvist, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 80th minute Joakim Apelkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Gregersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Säf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Marieholm got a freekick which was hit by Rune Bokelund. Joakim Apelkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Gregersson having to interfere. When Bengt Wennerqvist came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Marieholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Wennerqvist couldn't finish the play. Robin Alfors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tomas Kjellqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Henrik Säf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Kjellqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Wennerqvist in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Apelkvist in the 96th minute of play forced Marieholm's goalkeeper Bror Gregersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Marieholm's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Apelkvist came free, but Bror Gregersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
