The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sebastian Ahlén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Hasselqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Egon Drake when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 7 minutes, Gert Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danderyd IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Utter in the 10th minute of play forced Sidensjö's goalkeeper Christian Nordlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Danderyd IFK's goalkeeper Egon Drake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Hasselqvist. With his leg Egon Drake managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Sidensjö's Konrad Hasselqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Bror Alin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidensjö's Christian Nordlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Utter in the 39th minute of play. Isaac Utter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Christian Nordlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Vollander's late challenge caught a Danderyd IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Vollander helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sidensjö's Dan Vollander got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sebastian Ahlén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sidensjö's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Ahlén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Drake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Ahlén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Ahlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Bror Alin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Isaac Utter made a precise shot to the right of Christian Nordlund. Sidensjö's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 78th minute, Sidensjö's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isaac Utter fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Utter got free with Christian Nordlund in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Nordlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Alin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bror Alin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Nordlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Alin in the 87th minute of play. The Danderyd IFK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
