Bullaren FF's Ingemar Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Hjeltman in the 6th minute of play. Eric Hjeltman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Sandström having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Bertil Billström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Stephansson. Lakene IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Billström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lakene IFK's Viggo Eskilsson got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 21st minute, Ulf Galle made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Stephansson. Lakene IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Hjalmar Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ingemar Sandström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lakene IFK. In the 32nd match minute, Lakene IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Liljeström to maneuver through the defense. Hjalmar Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ingemar Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Eric Hjeltman struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ingemar Sandström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lakene IFK. After 56 played minutes Bullaren FF got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Billström. If Hjalmar Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arvin Ivarsson made in the 58th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Stig-Arne Höijer however managed to control. Ingemar Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Hjeltman in the 59th minute of the match. Hjalmar Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Sandström having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Billström in the 63rd minute of play forced Lakene IFK's goalkeeper Edgar Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viggo Eskilsson in the 65th minute of play forced Bullaren FF's goalkeeper Ingemar Sandström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Stig-Arne Höijer notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bullaren FF's Ingemar Sandström. Ingemar Sandström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 69 minutes, Hjalmar Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lakene IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hjalmar Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Eric Hjeltman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hjalmar Lindqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Eric Hjeltman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingemar Sandström was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Hjalmar Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ingemar Sandström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lakene IFK. Hjalmar Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Hjeltman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Sandström having to interfere. In the 91st minute of the match Lars Liljeström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ingemar Sandström skillfully saved the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Bullaren FF's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Eskilsson came free, but Ingemar Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hjalmar Lindqvist took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingemar Sandström. Ingemar Sandström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
