Dalsjöfors's Joel Bengtsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Dalsjöfors from getting a goal against them. Dan Carlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Joel Bengtsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Borghamn RK's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Bäckström came free, but Thomas Stenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Per-Erik Falk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borghamn RK's Thomas Stenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sakarias Sandwall came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Borghamn RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakarias Sandwall couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Helge Bäckström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Stenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Dalsjöfors getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sven-Oskar Stabbe hit a great ball. Dan Carlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Stenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Bäckström in the 22nd minute of the match. Sakarias Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Bengtsson having to interfere. If Helge Bäckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helge Bäckström succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The supporters of Borghamn RK booed when Dalsjöfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Erik Falk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Erik Falk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Stenberg having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Borghamn RK's Sakarias Sandwall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Bengtsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils-Erik Blomqvist during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute Helge Bäckström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Stenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan Carlberg made a kick off. Per-Erik Falk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 played minutes Per-Erik Falk rounded Borghamn RK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Helge Bäckström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Thomas Stenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Borghamn RK's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Erik Falk came free, but Thomas Stenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dan Carlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Dalsjöfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st match minute, Borghamn RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Lööf to maneuver through the defense. Herman Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Dalsjöfors got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Blomqvist. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Ove Juhlin during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 83 minutes, Herman Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalsjöfors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herman Månsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Helge Bäckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Uno Smitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Herman Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Herman Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalsjöfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Herman Månsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Stenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
