Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jens-Åke Salkvist kicked off to start the match. Birger Abelsson struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Knut Hurtig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gullspång BK. Knut Hurtig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Abelsson in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Jens-Åke Salkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Hurtig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Bräcke IK got a freekick which was hit by Charles Löfgren. Jens-Åke Salkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Knut Hurtig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Åke Salkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, Birger Abelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gullspång BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Gullspång BK's zone, Torsten Vennerdal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Willig came out of the goal and Torsten Vennerdal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Harlén's late challenge caught a Bräcke IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Harlén helped the player get up and apologised. Tommy Harlén kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Mattias Willig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Örtendahl in the 42nd minute of the match. When Elliot Apelqvist fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gullspång BK's protests and gave Elliot Apelqvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gullspång BK! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Bräcke IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gullspång BK the free kick. After 61 played minutes Bräcke IK got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Martinsson. Gullspång BK's Mattias Willig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Martinsson in the 66th minute of play. Birger Abelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mattias Willig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Vennerdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olle Strömberg's late challenge caught a Bräcke IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olle Strömberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gullspång BK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Olle Strömberg hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Birger Abelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Knut Hurtig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kjell Bock charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Bock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Knut Hurtig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Abelsson in the 91st minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
