The referee ignored Yxlan FK's protests and gave Per-Åke Stenqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Per-Åke Stenqvist hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Rune Öfverman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Yxlan FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
