A collision led to Storlien getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Tony Käcker hit a great ball. Per Hård was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Storlien:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Näsviken:s goal. Hannes Kullgren hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Reine Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Dalkvist in the 23rd minute of play. Reine Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Dalkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tor Gregersson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Reine Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Dalkvist in the 27th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Roy Lind mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Näsviken and the Storlien players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roy Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Storlien's Sven Busk couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Näsviken. If Bo Beckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Uggstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bo Dalkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernt Lundberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bo Beckström went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Näsviken's zone, Bo Dalkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reine Elg came out of the goal and Bo Dalkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bo Dalkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Elg having to interfere. Reine Elg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Dalkvist in the 68th minute. The supporters of Storlien booed when Näsviken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Gregersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reine Elg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bo Dalkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 70 minute of play. If Albert Uggstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Näsviken's Reine Elg got control of the ball when Bo Dalkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reine Elg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Dalkvist in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Bo Beckström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Näsviken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Näsviken's supporters were highly satisfied with the result.
