Göran Ekblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zebastian Smedfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Grödinge's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Ekblom came free, but Reine Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reine Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Ekblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Långaryd getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Joakim Malmgren hit a great ball. Grödinge's Reine Qvarnström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Ekblom in the 21st minute of play. Fabian Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esbjörn Olsmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Göran Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Ekblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Göran Ekblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Qvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konrad Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Åström having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Långaryd's zone, Esbjörn Olsmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Åström came out of the goal and Esbjörn Olsmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Konrad Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Wassenius kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Esbjörn Olsmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Nils-Emil Strandberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Reine Qvarnström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabian Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Olsmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grödinge's goalkeeper Reine Qvarnström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göran Ekblom to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Grödinge defense, Joakim Malmgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reine Qvarnström. The Grödinge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reine Qvarnström should have stopped the shot. Esbjörn Olsmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grödinge's Reine Qvarnström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Elg in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Konrad Bergqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grödinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Konrad Bergqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Åström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils-Emil Strandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Reine Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Göran Ekblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Olsmann in the 73rd minute of play forced Långaryd's goalkeeper Fabian Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Långaryd's zone, Esbjörn Olsmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Åström came out of the goal and Esbjörn Olsmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Esbjörn Olsmann came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Grödinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esbjörn Olsmann couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Långaryd getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alfons Bruse hit a great ball. Fabian Åström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konrad Bergqvist in the 87th minute. Esbjörn Olsmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Åström having to interfere.
