Erik Stenman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Widberg in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mellerud's goalkeeper Erik Stenman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Almstedt in the 10th minute of play forced ⚽ＯｓｔＵｇｇｌｏｒｎａ⚽'s goalkeeper Adrian Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Egon Stor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mellerud's Erik Stenman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Stor in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of ⚽ＯｓｔＵｇｇｌｏｒｎａ⚽ booed when Mellerud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Wennerlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Widberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Erik Stenman made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Mellerud's zone, Sebastian Widberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Stenman came out of the goal and Sebastian Widberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Widberg got free with Erik Stenman in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 minutes, Arvin Almstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mellerud and the ⚽ＯｓｔＵｇｇｌｏｒｎａ⚽ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Mellerud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Drake to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Widberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Stenman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Påk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arvin Almstedt made a kick off. Mellerud's Arvin Almstedt got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Arvin Almstedt off the ground. The supporters of ⚽ＯｓｔＵｇｇｌｏｒｎａ⚽ booed when Mellerud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Billy Söderkvist fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mellerud's protests and gave Billy Söderkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Mellerud got a freekick which was hit by Billy Söderkvist. The supporters of ⚽ＯｓｔＵｇｇｌｏｒｎａ⚽ booed when Mellerud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Egon Stor came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the ⚽ＯｓｔＵｇｇｌｏｒｎａ⚽ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egon Stor couldn't finish the play. If Birger Östlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnus Hjälm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Eliasson having to interfere. Sebastian Widberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Erik Stenman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Stor in the 73rd minute of play forced Mellerud's goalkeeper Erik Stenman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Mellerud:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ⚽ＯｓｔＵｇｇｌｏｒｎａ⚽:s goal. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for ⚽ＯｓｔＵｇｇｌｏｒｎａ⚽. Jack Påk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erik Stenman. 2-0. Edward Drake's late challenge caught a ⚽ＯｓｔＵｇｇｌｏｒｎａ⚽'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Drake helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 minutes of play Mellerud's Billy Söderkvist was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Birger Östlund kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ⚽ＯｓｔＵｇｇｌｏｒｎａ⚽ fully deserved thier win.
