Rune Forss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joar Blomberg in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Jim Näfver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lycksele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim Näfver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jim Näfver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joar Blomberg in the 24th minute of play forced Lycksele's goalkeeper Rune Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Forss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joar Blomberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Jimmie Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Forss was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Håkan Jönsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Håkan Jönsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 96thth minute of the game Jim Näfver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åmål IFK's Peter Melberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Melberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Näfver, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
