Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gröstorp IF's Håkan Grelsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gäddede RK's Anders Kaxe in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gröstorp IF's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Kleen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sverker Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jon Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Kaxe in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Henric Hansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jon Eliasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Gröstorp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Kaxe came free, but Jon Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gröstorp IF's Jon Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Kaxe in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Gröstorp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Hansson came free, but Jon Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Håkan Grelsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Sverker Åkesson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A murmur of surprise went through the audience when Gröstorp IF's Nils-Erik Fågel after having done a couple of nice dribblings in the 24th minute of the game fired away a shot to his disappointment passed just outside the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Gäddede RK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Kleen came free, but Sverker Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Kleen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sverker Åkesson. The goal made the score 1-1. Gröstorp IF's Jon Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Hansson in the 43rd minute of play. Daniel Kleen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sverker Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jon Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Kaxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calle Sandberg's late challenge caught a Gäddede RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calle Sandberg helped the player get up and apologised. Calle Sandberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henric Hansson was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Gäddede RK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ingvar Åkesson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gäddede RK's Björn Dahlberg got a free kick in the 54th minute. Sverker Åkesson came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Gröstorp IF's Daniel Kleen. But to his dismay, Daniel Kleen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Håkan Grelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurt Kvarnström during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Kurt Kvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anders Kaxes short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Jon Eliasson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Gäddede RK's zone, Daniel Kleen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Åkesson came out of the goal and Daniel Kleen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Filip Gummeson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jon Eliasson, 2-3.
