Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dick Lagerberg started the match with the kick off. Leonardo Vik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Lagerberg in the 4th minute of the match. Helge Brandin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthias Salkvist in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Virserum FF's Lennart Thorsberg got a free kick in the 12th minute. Matthias Salkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Helge Brandin made a huge save. Frans Björkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Molander kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Leonardo Vik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dick Lagerberg's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dick Lagerberg in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Vik saved Virserum FF from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Frans Björkman in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Leonardo Vik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Lagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Virserum FF's zone, Frans Björkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Vik came out of the goal and Frans Björkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gottfrid Kjellberg hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Virserum FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Sundström to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Thorsberg during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Virserum FF getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lennart Thorsberg hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Hans Ahlquist made the kick off in the second half. If Dick Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virserum FF's Leonardo Vik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Lagerberg in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Aros Vättar booed when Virserum FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Thorsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthias Salkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Virserum FF's Ingvar Esbjörnsson tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dick Lagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aros Vättar's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Lagerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Vik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gottfrid Kjellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Vik having to interfere. Dick Lagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Leonardo Vik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Vik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Lagerberg in the 80th minute of the match. Dick Lagerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Vik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dick Lagerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Dick Lagerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Leonardo Vik made a huge save. Frans Björkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Lagerberg in the 92nd minute of play forced Virserum FF's goalkeeper Leonardo Vik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Aros Vättar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Virserum FF throughout the match.
