Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hans Ahlquist made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute of the match Adrian Molander sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kasper Brolin skillfully saved the ball. In the 4th match minute, Askersund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Biörling to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Ingvar Esbjörnsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kasper Brolin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kasper Brolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Ahlquist in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Askersund getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Daniel Söderqvist hit a great ball. Karl-Oskar Skager's late challenge caught a Askersund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Oskar Skager helped the player get up and apologised. Kasper Brolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Ahlquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jimmy Olofssons short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Leonardo Vik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 24 played minutes, Virserum FF's Ingvar Esbjörnsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kasper Brolin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Virserum FF reached it. Leonardo Vik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Vik was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Niclas Löfdahl capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niclas Löfdahl really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Askersund's Viktor Boberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leonardo Vik but with some difficulty. In the 38th minute Hans Ahlquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Brolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hans Ahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Biörling kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Matthias Salkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Leonardo Vik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Matthias Salkvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 58th minute, Thor Martinsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Sjö, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Jimmy Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niclas Löfdahl took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Vik. Leonardo Vik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Jimmy Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Askersund defense, Matthias Salkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasper Brolin. The Askersund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasper Brolin should have stopped the shot. After 75 played minutes Virserum FF got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Esbjörnsson. Askersund were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Virserum FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oskar Sjö took the corner. When Virserum FF's Hans Ahlquist in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Askersund's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Niclas Löfdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Askersund's supporters rose to their feet, but Niclas Löfdahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Vik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 90 minutes, Jimmy Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Askersund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmy Olofsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute of the match, Hans Ahlquist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kasper Brolin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
