Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Egon Gernberg made the kick off which started today's match. Kosta's Uno Alströmmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Svensson in the 3rd minute of play. Egon Gernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Lundqvist having to interfere. Oxelösund's Anton Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Gernberg in the 23rd minute of play. Anton Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Lindgren in the 28th minute. Johnny Biörkquist kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Kosta's Ingvar Lindgren got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ingvar Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uno Alströmmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Karlberg in the 43rd minute of play. Jack Karlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Valdemar Burman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 52 minutes, Göran Henriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kosta and the Oxelösund players grew even worse after the yellow card. Göran Henriksson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jack Karlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Uno Alströmmer made a huge save. Göran Henriksson got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Kosta getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Göran Henriksson hit a great ball. Jack Karlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Uno Alströmmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uno Alströmmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdemar Burman's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Ingvar Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Lundqvist having to interfere. Kosta's Uno Alströmmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Kosta from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Kosta's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Burman came free, but Uno Alströmmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
