Järpen BK's Anton Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Kjellqvist in the 11th minute of play. Anton Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Bogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ola Forsberg struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Sven-Arne Östensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Järpen BK. After 18 played minutes Grönahög IFK got a freekick which was hit by Dag Asserlind. After the first half Grönahög IFK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
