Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Olov Blom took the kick off in the first half of the match. Melker Biörnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Åke Kjellqvist's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 5th match minute, Åshammar BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Åke Kjellqvist struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Melker Biörnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grönahög IFK. Stig-Arne Bogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Biörnberg having to interfere. Sven-Arne Östensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Stig-Arne Bogren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Melker Biörnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charlie Gustafsson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of Åshammar BF booed when Grönahög IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sven-Åke Kjellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grönahög IFK's Sven-Åke Kjellqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Åke Kjellqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Grönahög IFK's Stig-Arne Bogren got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig-Arne Bogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Biörnberg having to interfere. In the 58th minute of the match Villiam Gallberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melker Biörnberg skillfully saved the ball. When Jörgen Arvidsson fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grönahög IFK's protests and gave Jörgen Arvidsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Grönahög IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Åke Kjellqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Melker Biörnberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stig-Arne Bogren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olov Blom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Arne Östensson having to make a save. 72 minutes into the match, Sebastian Ivarsson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Grönahög IFK's Sven-Arne Östensson. Sven-Arne Östensson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th match minute, Grönahög IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Villiam Gallberg to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Sebastian Ivarsson put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sven-Arne Östensson. Melker Biörnberg made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Stig-Arne Bogren sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Åke Kjellqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melker Biörnberg having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Kjellqvist in the 86th minute of play forced Åshammar BF's goalkeeper Melker Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Sven-Åke Kjellqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åshammar BF's Melker Biörnberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
