The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matthias Bank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Westerstrand having to interfere. Joar Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joar Alebäck in the 6th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Lannavaara IF got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Pilgren. In the 10th minute of the match, Örjan Willig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joar Söder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With an all-out effort, Sandared IK's Joar Söder threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joar Alebäck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mårten Westerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Olsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Matthias Bank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lannavaara IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Bank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mårten Westerstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mårten Westerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Olsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Willig got free with Joar Söder in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joar Alebäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joar Söder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Örjan Willig went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Joar Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joar Alebäck in the 62nd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Robert Hellström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandared IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lannavaara IF the free kick. Sandared IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Willig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joar Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Willig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars-Erik Göransson scored 4-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joar Söder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Örjan Willig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
