Charles Enström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pelle Vestberg went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jon Classon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Charles Enström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jens-Ove Smitt fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vidsel FK's protests and gave Jens-Ove Smitt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Jens-Ove Smitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vidsel FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Hellgren in the 18th minute. Charles Enström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Vestberg in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Pelle Vestberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Enström. Fridheimers Fighters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pelle Vestberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ian Palm charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Palm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Ian Palm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Jon Classon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pelle Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per Jernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pelle Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Enström having to interfere. Henry Back made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Vilhelm Åman sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Vilhelm Åman made a precise shot to the right of Henry Back. Vidsel FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Per Jernberg made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Vidsel FK's zone, Vilhelm Åman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Back came out of the goal and Vilhelm Åman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Vestberg in the 66th minute of play forced Fridheimers Fighters's goalkeeper Charles Enström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Hellgren kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Tom Kilberg's late challenge caught a Fridheimers Fighters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Kilberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Vidsel FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Kilberg to maneuver through the defense. Per Jernberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Back read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Vidsel FK's Pelle Vestberg got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Jernberg in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Back prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Per Jernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jon Classon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Enström having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jon Classon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vidsel FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Classon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Enström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fridheimers Fighters's Per Jernberg in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vidsel FK's goalie prevented a goal. If Pelle Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
