When Lars Morat fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bälinge's protests and gave Lars Morat a yellow card for diving instead. Carl Ahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Morat in the 13th minute of play. Fredric Bennet made in the 17th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Billy Siggman however managed to control. Nora FF's Carl Ahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Skoglund in the 20th minute of play. Kurt Åhlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Bergren charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Bergren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 30 minutes into the game, one of Nora FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Bälinge. Per-Olof Hägert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carl Ahlberg. 0-1. Stig-Åke Hasselqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Morat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carl Ahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Bälinge's Lars Morat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Ahlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Bälinge were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Åhlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nora FF booed when Bälinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Colin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Kurt Åhlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nora FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Åhlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Åhlberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wictor Rolfsson having to make a save. Wictor Rolfsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Åhlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 61 minutes, Lars Morat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bälinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Morat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bälinge's Billy Siggman got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carl Ahlberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Åke Hasselqvist went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 77th match minute, Nora FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilgot Lilja to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Åhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Nora FF's Carl Ahlberg got control of the ball when Stig-Åke Hasselqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Nora FF booed when Bälinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Skoglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesper Skoglund during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bälinge getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jesper Skoglund hit a great ball. Carl Ahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Morat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bälinge walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
