In the 17th minute of the match, Joakim Alrot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arne Hydén saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kenneth Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Niklas Hök shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Lingren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Olofstorp BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Kenneth Gunnarsson fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olofstorp BF's protests and gave Kenneth Gunnarsson a yellow card for diving instead. Kenneth Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The FC Apberget players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olofstorp BF were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Joakim Alrot made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Olofstorp BF's zone, Egon Uggla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Hydén came out of the goal and Egon Uggla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th match minute, Olofstorp BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Lustig to maneuver through the defense. After 87 minutes, Håkan Strömberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olofstorp BF and the FC Apberget players grew even worse after the yellow card. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olofstorp BF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
