Tvååker BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bankeryd the free kick. In the 20th minute of the match Stefan Samuelsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niclas Kråk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gösta Alstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Christer Sikström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jan-Åke Wallman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Stefan Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Felin in the 43rd minute of play forced Bankeryd's goalkeeper Henry Felin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Åke Wallman to make the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Christer Sikström from a close distance when the talented Niclas Kråk managed to make a qualified save. Tvååker BK's players were relieved. Henry Felin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Alstedt in the 55th minute of the match. Christer Sikström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Niclas Kråk made a huge save. After some careless play in the Bankeryd defense, Tommy Felin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Felin. The Bankeryd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Felin should have stopped the shot. Henry Felin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Felin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, one of Tvååker BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tvååker BK. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Bankeryd. Stefan Samuelsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Niclas Kråk. 1-2. In the 85th match minute, Bankeryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Samuelsson to maneuver through the defense. If Gösta Alstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Felin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Felin went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
