Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Karl-Ove Kellbom started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Mats Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sebastian Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Mats Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Konga IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot by Marcus Häll from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Sebastian Söderström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Fransson in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Ekström saved Hallaryd RK from getting behind. After 18 minutes of play, Konga IK's Jarl Larsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Ekström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arne Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Larsson in the 23rd minute of play. Jarl Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arne Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Konga IK's Niklas Lidström got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Rikard Ekblom hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mats Fransson during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Konga IK got a freekick which was hit by Mats Fransson. In the 38th minute, Karl-Ove Kellbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Ove Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sebastian Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arne Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Tidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Karl-Ove Kellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hallaryd RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Ove Kellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Söderström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Carlsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Hallaryd RK's Arne Ekström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Hallaryd RK from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Kellbom in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Jarl Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 71 minutes, Marcus Häll mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hallaryd RK and the Konga IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arne Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Lidström in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hallaryd RK's Sture Askestät got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Jarl Larsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Elias Offendahl came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Hallaryd RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Offendahl couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Karl-Ove Kellbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Karl-Ove Kellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hallaryd RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Ove Kellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konga IK's Sebastian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Carlsson in the 95th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hallaryd RK's zone, Jarl Larsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Ekström came out of the goal and Jarl Larsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Konga IK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Konga IK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
